CZB is excited to welcome Vanessa Van Bergen as our new Executive Director and Bianca Romeijnders as our new Programme Manager. They both bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our organization, and we are thrilled to have them on board.
Who Is Vanessa?
Vanessa joins us with a strong background in consulting and a deep commitment to sustainability. We are grateful to her predecessor, Stephanie Raymond, for her groundbreaking work in establishing CZB and for her ongoing contributions as a Board member. Stephanie is thrilled to remain engaged with CZB and looks forward to continuing her contributions to our success and impact. Her ongoing involvement will offer essential support and continuity as Vanessa transitions into her new role.
As a proud member of the 4th cohort of the Director Climate Journey (DCJ), Vanessa has gained a wealth of tailored knowledge from an expert group of lecturers and peers. This experience has enhanced her understanding of climate issues and expanded her network, which will be instrumental in advancing CZB's mission.
Why Vanessa Is Excited About Chapter Zero Brussels
Vanessa is eager to apply her consulting expertise to further the development of Chapter Zero Brussels. She aims to increase awareness, drive action, and enhance our impact. Vanessa looks forward to collaborating with the Board, CZB Members, Partners, and the Belgian ecosystem to support the green transition towards a more sustainable planet.
She views this role as a unique opportunity to build and share climate knowledge through effective communication channels. Vanessa is dedicated to helping board members and their teams learn, grow, and engage with stakeholders to foster a culture where sustainability is integrated into all aspects of organizational and societal practices.

We are also delighted to welcome Bianca Romeijnders as our new Programme Manager. Bianca began her journey with CZB in September and shares our excitement for the fresh perspectives she brings. With a strong background in Events and Communication and a passion for sustainability, Bianca is well-equipped to support CZB's ongoing activities. She is enthusiastic about using her skills to contribute to our programs and communication strategies, aiming to strengthen connections with our membership base and partners.
