Earlier this week, we had a session in collaboration with Bain & Company on policies. This session focused on the varying roles of policies in different regions, discussing standards, subsidies, regulations, and how to set up a ‘strategy-under-uncertainty’ to manage these policy changes.
The event featured a live panel with Katherine Dixon (Bain EU Policy Centre lead) and Marc-Antoine Eyl-Mazzega (Director of the Energy & Climate Centre at Ifri), who addressed some critical questions:
What is the role of subsidies in accelerated decarbonization?
What role do protectionist measures play in the EU?
What is the likely evolution of EU ETS prices?
We concluded with breakouts and plenary discussions focusing on how to navigate these policy dynamics at a board level.
This session was our largest and most successful yet, attracting a significant number of board members who engaged deeply with the content.
We are eagerly anticipating our next gathering and the continued impact of this initiative!
